Post V: Tigers Are Headed To DISNEY WORLD!

Good Afternoon Tiger fans. It is a beautiful sunday afternoon here in Shreveport. I just drove in from Baton Rouge, and I am impressed with the Tigers' performance. LSU defeated Arkansas last night in overtime by a Josh Jasper field goal to win by the score of 33-30.

Coach Miles halfway redeemed himself-He Won! Good job Les, you did your job. It's about time. You get payed $3.8 million a year Coach. 9-3 is unexceptable. I personally like Houston Nutt's motto for this season. "UNSATISFIED!".

The Tigers have unofficially punched their ticket to Orlando to appear in the 2009 Capital One Bowl on New Years Day. The Capital One Bowl picks the best SEC team who is not in a BCS bowl game. Which will be the LSU Tigers. LSU will most likely take on the Iowa Hawkeyes or the Penn State Nittany Lions. In both cases I think LSU is the stronger team, but they were stronger than Ole Miss and they lost. They were stronger than Louisiana Tech, and they almost lost. They were stronger than Mississippi State, and almost lost. They were stronger than Georgia, and almost lost. You get my point people? LSU is unpredictable. I would love to say YAY we won, but I would not bet on LSU ever this season.

Les Miles has got to go, I agree. But as of right now he is our coach, and his the leader of this Tiger football team. Coach Miles deserves our respect and support. He is a great coach and he is an LSU TIGER, and when you say "FOREVER L-S-U" at the end of the Alma Mater that means many things. It means Louisiana State University will forever be in your heart, it also means that anyone wearing the colors purple and gold has your support. No matter if they win or lose, no matter if they get blown out or they blow out their opponent, they deserve our support and respect at all times. I am a full support of Coach Les Miles and yes he is struggling but he is a Tiger, and he is a part of this great Tiger family. If you are a real LSU Fighting Tiger fan you will support Les Miles and his men this season. I've always liked the saying, "GIVE MORE FOR LES!".

In professional football there is good news for you Saints fans, the Colts are currently losing to the Texans. If the Saints win tomorrow they may be the only undefeated team left in the NFL. WHO DAT?

But I am done rambling, we will know soon who is going where for College bowl games. Oh and how about them Ole Miss Rebels? 41-27? The lost the eggbowl yesterday and gave up 35 points to Mississippi State for the first time since 1917. Hotty Toddy? NO! Go Corndogs!

Thats all I have to say, tune to ESPN tomorrow at 8:30 eastern time for the unbeaten New Orleans Saints versus Tom Brady and his New England Patriots. My pick is the Saints win in "come from behind" fashion by the score of 41-38. Three point favor for the Saints.

To all tiger fans making the trip to Orlando or whatever bowl game our boys are in, travel safely and enjoy the trip.

God Bless and as always, GEAUX TIGERS!

Here are the Tigers hoisting "THE BOOT" which they reclaimed last night!

Post IV: Oh Great. ESPN has moved from Charlie Weis to Les Miles. Wonderful

So is Charlie Weis going to get fired? Lately no one cares. It's all about is Les Miles going to get fired. Well he isn't. Want to know why? Because the buy out for this year is 13 million. LSU athletic does have that, but why spend it? Give the man a chance. This is really on his MAJOR mistake since arriving at LSU in 2005.

LSU plays Arkansas this weekend, or Ar-KANSAS as Miles calls it, this weekend. For Les to be fired LSU will have to fall to Arkansas and lose the bowl game as well. Not gonna happen. LSU will win out this season in my opinion, and will beat Arkansas 35-31. Yes my pick is four points in the Tigers' favor.

Tune to ESPN Saturday at six, when the Razorbacks of Arkansas take on the Fighting Tigers of LSU. Should be a good one. All fans making the trip to Baton Rouge, be safe and enjoy the game. It should be fun. God Bless and as always, GEAUX TIGERS!

Post II: Tiger Basketball Looking Good, Also Looking Young. Rebuilding Year for Trent Johnson?

It is Friday morning in Oxford, Mississippi, and it is a beautiful day for College Football. To bad the game is tomorrow. Thats right I am talking about the LSU-Ole Miss Game, tomorrow 2:30 on CBS. I'll be there, will you?

Well to what the title is about. Tiger basketball. The LSU mens basketball team has come out strong. Yeah okay, who have they played? ULM, Indiana State, and Western Kentucky. Oh Lord those three will make up three of the final four in March.

Bottom line, they are just starting off. Yes, those wins are good wins, but we will know how good they are next Wednesday. LSU takes on Connecticut on ESPN2 in Madison Square Garden. Then the day after a Thanksgiving holiday the guys return to the Madison Square Garden to take on either Duke or Arizona State.

They have returners Bo Spencer, Tasmin Mitchell, and Storm Warren leading this young men's basketball team. Its to early to tell how successful Trent Johnson's guys will be.

I think it won't be a NCAA Championship season, but maybe SEC. So we will see.

Come back for more, and don't forget...LSU @ Ole Miss, Tomorrow at 2:30 on CBS. God Bless and as always, Geaux Tigers!

Post I: Tigers Must Hold McCluster Tomorrow...& Could That Be Pizza We Smell in Auburn?

Yes, this is blog entry number one for me...ever. But it's okay, I should get the hang of it soon. Now to what I really am here for. LSU FIGHTING TIGER FOOTBALL. The Tigers travel to Oxford, Mississippi tomorrow to play the Ole Miss Rebels. The rebels have been struggling but have a 7-3 record. I'm not a Jevan Snead fan. He is a little girl. If the defense brings a blitz towards Jevan he panics and usually can not adjust and does something bad. But don't get me wrong, Jordan Jefferson is the same way. Jefferson focuses on one reciever and if that guy is not open, Jordan panics. Which is just not something he can do as a starting quarterback in the SEC. hello? jordan, welcome to the South Eastern Conference. Well, the key to the game for LSU is to stop Dex. If they fail to stop Dexter McCluster...he will run all over the place and run Ole Miss to another Magnolia Bowl victory. Seriously Tigers, prove me wrong! I have not been impressed YET this season by the way you have played.

So to other crap in the SEC..Auburn better get ready for Shreveport because it looks like they may be headed to the Advocare Independence Bowl. Congratulations Auburn! You still suck. If you don't get to Shreveport, I smell pizza in the near future. I am talking of the PapaJohns.Com Bowl. That is by far weirdest bowl name I've heard by the way.Alabama, please beat Florida. I want to see all those Gator fans cry! I think we all do. So I dont feel like writing any more.

Remember Tiger Fans to tune to CBS tomorrow at 2:30 for the 2nd Annual Magnolia Bowl. LSU @ Ole Miss. LSU Sports Radio Network will be there as always...LSU Pregrame Presented by CST begins two hours prior to kickoff. You do that math. Visit www.lsusports.net for all radio affiliates in your area.

I wish all fans making the trip to see the game this weekend a very fun and safe weekend. Enjoy the Game, and as always...Geaux Tigers!
